This presentation will discuss how UX expertise was crucial to developing a user-centered strategic plan for a large academic library. We will discuss the benefits and drawbacks of working with consultants, using an appreciative inquiry-based process, and gathering and analyzing ideas from hundreds of faculty, staff, students, and library employees.
